Yah, saw that. Tuners are oxidized also. Like most asking prices right now - about twice what it's worth.
I've noticed the same thing about asking prices across the board pretty much regardless of make or model. I was looking at Alembic basses the other day and couldn't believe the bottom of the line Epic models (the ones that were mass produced and sold new at Guitar Center for around $1000) are now asking between $2000 and $3000. That's insane for that bass. Just a few years ago you could pick those up anywhere for well under $1500.

TB seems to be one of the better places to shop right now. Guitar Center used stuff is somewhat reasonably priced, Reverb is nearly off the rails in a lot of their listings, and a lot of the Brick and mortar stores are over the top. All this while I assume demand is dropping, seems crazy.

No Thunderbirds were involved(some kind of AEB).
And on the subject of TBirds, there'll be one being played tomorrow night (Thursday). I got drafted to fill in-sort of-with 2 of the other guys in our band. One of the guitarists, who also plays bass, was in an accident and is pretty sore so I was asked to cover the gig. He usually provides the PA so I gotta take mine. 'Course I get extra for that.:rollno: The way the place is set up I'll definitely be practicing anti-social distancing. At least I get a 'burger outta the deal.
So. Did the gig last night. Didn't really wanna do it for a ship(sp?) load of reasons. Turned out to be the most fun gig I've done since February. Thunderbird sounded great and felt good playing it. Burger was outstanding. Had a porter/stout when I got home.
