exactly half, just measured. ring is 1 mm pg 2 mm. not the stock pg, had it made to accommodate the narrower 70's sidewinders but it's just like the stock 3 ply with the exception of the decal vs engraving..Do you know how thick that pickup ring is? Thanks. Wow, 1mm is thinner than I was expecting.exactly half, just measured. ring is 1 mm pg 2 mm. not the stock pg, had it made to accommodate the narrower 70's sidewinders but it's just like the stock 3 ply with the exception of the decal vs engraving..
Not surprised the big lytic has acne.yeah, I’ve had this one for awhile now, it survived the Paradise fires....fortunately, the innards are not too bad...

Does anyone have the specs on or a source for Thunderbird pickguard screws? I seem to be missing one of those.
Thanks, Kara!I bought mine, for the Classic Pro, from Philadelphia Luthier via their eBay store:
#3 X 3/8" (9.5mm) Pickguard/Backplate screws for Gibson guitars Qty 25 - Chrome | eBay
from my bravissimo Gumbah from the midwest
Thanks, Kara!
The thing I still find impossible to source is replacement black truss rod cover screws. I'm pretty sure they're #2 x 1/4", flat Phillips head. You're welcome!
And just ftr, that's also where I got my chrome pickup covers & rings, in case anyone's looking for a source for those.![]()
