Rob Van den Broek (Basvarken) was responsible for getting the Bach Nonreverse Thunderbirds done. After the success of the Bach NRs he embarked on his own path. His build are beautiful ingenious interpretations of classic designs. Rob's efforts get a big thumbs up from me.Gorgeous. Never heard of Brooks until now. Interesting builds he has.

Shipping safely can be quite expensive Scott. I think insured it's ± $300 with UPSHmmmmmm how much to ship a bass from the Netherlands?

Nice. I’m researching racks for my Thunder corner. Which one are you using?Organized the basses without cases room yesterday. Part of my flock of birds with a couple of 60's NRs hiding amongst the flock.View attachment 4126043
I like the Warwick stands the best. I have one for stage. There are three multi bass stands in the room only one is Warwick, the others are nowhere near as good as the Warwick.Nice. I’m researching racks for my Thunder corner. Which one are you using?

Basically 10% of the cost of the bass? That’s not bad.Shipping safely can be quite expensive Scott. I think insured it's ± $300 with UPS
Totally worth it.Basically 10% of the cost of the bass? That’s not bad.
Totally worth it.
I have shipped with cheaper companies in the past. But with those cheaper companies quite often the basses got damaged in transit. I rather spend a little more, and be sure it will arrive safe and sound across the big pond.
With UPS it's all done within the same company. They have their own vans, their own planes. No third parties manhandling your precious instruments.
Exactly!Yep. And if something does happen, it's on them to resolve. No finger pointing.
