Wow - love peanut butter, sadly especially Jiffy which is chocked full of sugar and other nasty ingredients. Organic peanut butter just tastes like... peanuts! ;) Oh, and Reeses Peanut Butter Cups... (I'm hooked!)
I'm a peanut butter advocate- it's a cheap and pretty potent source of protien, which gets burned up like beer money after 5pm on a good day.

Why did they put the jack there? Cause you’re less likely to break your bass when you step on the cord as you’re rockin away!

I don't disagree in principle....but, personally, I use right-angle end connectors in either situation (except on basses like my SR, where only a straight works good), and then loop over the strap/pin connection. At that point, it's really just a cosmetic difference, imo :)

Great pic, BTW!

All of my cords/cables are right angle/straight except one which is right angle to right angle(hard to find). And it always goes through the strap.

Finally got around to putting up one of my wall hangers :cautious:

I discovered I may to have to get least 17 more, so I can have an 18...

Hoping to get a second one mounted later; still haven't decided where to put the third one...

Looks similar to the ones I use. They were cheap so I reinforced them with structural plaster. It's anyone's guess if it will help. Living in the Bay Area, can't underestimate the chance of a bit of rock & roll.

I don't mind it being located there - it lays against the side of the bout with an "L' jack and is tethered in place by the strap.

Never hurts to have more reinforcement, especially where you're at ;)

Fortunately, Sac only wiggles occasionally, so I guess I'll find out if these are good enough as-is, screwed (!) straight into the wood...:nailbiting:

I was on the Epiphone site recently and noticed they’d re-branded the Thunderbird Vintage PRO to being called the Thunderbird 60s Bass. Stores that have a listing up with the old title have the specs as a through neck whereas in the new link the neck is shown as glued in.

is this effectively the same Thunderbird or have the manufacturing specs changed?

"New and Improved" The ad says "previously called Vintage PRO. Guess they think a 'retro' name will help sales.

Maybe, a double bracket, to put one horizontal over my headboard?

But that seems a bit risky for Cali, even in Sac....:jawdrop:
Looks great.
When you run out of wall space you can use these, mount em on the ceiling if you want. Completely earthquake proof to boot. I've used them on guitars and basses I have displayed in my living room and they're great! In place now for 9+ years and no signs of weakening or cracking of the brackets or any damage to the guitars.
