Thunderbird Club

LOL - my Brit friends pretty much consider Peanut Butter dog food. Personally, I love a thick slathering of Jiff on an open face sandwich sprinkled with sugar. Yum!
Ha! Speaking of peanut butter and dogs, my brother and I used to press such open face sandwiches onto the top of our English bulldog’s mouth and watch his gene Simmons looking tongue try to dislodge them for what seemed like hours...poor guy...:D

My dog's favourite treat was Marmite on a Milkbone. She would lick all the Marmite off then eat the biscuit.

As for peanut butter - always a good laugh

Looks great.
When you run out of wall space you can use these, mount em on the ceiling if you want. Completely earthquake proof to boot. I've used them on guitars and basses I have displayed in my living room and they're great! In place now for 9+ years and no signs of weakening or cracking of the brackets or any damage to the guitars.

My wife draws the line about basses hanging in the living room. Already tried that one and no go....

I don't disagree in principle....but, personally, I use right-angle end connectors in either situation (except on basses like my SR, where only a straight works good), and then loop over the strap/pin connection. At that point, it's really just a cosmetic difference, imo :)

Great pic, BTW!
I usually use right angle plugs, cord looped over the strap. And back in the old days when we played gigs, I would use wireless.

We are careful, but I’ve seen (and repaired) a number of basses and guitars over the years with damage from the player stepping on the cord.

Looks like the same neck through VP to me on the website. Maybe the copywriter got it confused with the yet to be posted 60’s NR Thunderbird?
That's what I was thinking as well. It's the one thread of hope the NR addicted can latch on to as we continue to long for a new release.

Ive got them hanging in the living room, the family room, the home office, and the bass room. Not to mention two bedroom closets stacked to the gills in bass cases, a 15" Ampeg combo and bass in the guest bedroom, a balalaika in the sewing room, and an electric drum set and keyboard in the garage. My house runneth over with musical joy.

A white one is on my wish list but the thing that jumped out at me was the change in description about how the neck is attached. Here’s an ad from a UK store for the older name, which definitely doesn’t say glued in but “through-neck”.

Epi site says through neck.

I couldn’t even find a reverse kit a few years ago. But now that I have a CP and VP, I’m turning my bolt-on bird into a fun project. Doesn’t help, I know.

someone here had all the dimensions for a NR body, though. Just can’t recall who.
I'm willing to bet there are several people here that have it, It's been posted before and I know it was saved by more than just myself. I have it in my phone.

I’m wanting a keyboard. It would have to be in the “music room” (a large room above the garage) which is where the good stereo, a big TV and most comfortable couch is. It’s the warmest room in the house during the winter, so I don’t get to play in there all the time like I want to because the wife likes it. It’s tough with three of us here 24/7. I can’t remember the last time I was really able to crank it.

THUNDERBIRD Thursday!

Playing along with worship during online church today. I didn’t know my wife took it until she posted it to Facebook.

tried replacing with the higher quality photo. TB editor gets weird about that. Ugh. Click on the attached file below the post, not the link in the post.
