Thunderbird Club

Also, I had vegemite on toast for breakfast with a mug of green tea.
Let's see. Today I had a protein shake; yesterday, biscuit and sausage gravy; previous day, bacon bits(real) and Monterey Jack omelet; tomorrow, hmmm.

Well gang, l had a talk with my wife and at long last ordered my new rig. It’ll be the last one I buy and will be a trusty companion when I retire from the clampdown. It’ll take about a week to get here from SW.
Fantastic and congrats! I must be escaping me if you mentioned what you wanted. Please enlighten or remind. This is exciting!

Oh yes, you did mention that some time back, right?

I was just looking at the Mesa site tonight thinking those are so cool. I'm happy with my Ampeg tube heads, but I have to admit I would really like one of those.
Yeah. I’d pretty much decided on a WD800 then these came out and made me pause for a bit. I’m expecting the Boogie channel circuit and my Thunderbirds to sound pretty darn good.

The recent talk here of wall hanging basses reminded me, if you live in an earthquake zone this little trick goes a long way towards saving them from damage from bashing into each other or the wall during a shaker.

Just the cheapest guitar (not bass) gig bag zipped up provides adequate protection and is just short enough to not interfere with the hanger. Added bonus, eliminates dust and dirt and sunlight from attacking the finish of your bass. IIRC the Roadrunner bags run about $25 each at Guitar Center.

Yesterday was cheesy scrambled eggs. The day before was bacon. Both days, banana.
Tonight was Cuban style black beans and shredded chicken with cilantro lime adobo seasoning, in the crock pot for about 3 1/2 hours while playing my THUNDERBIRD, then poured over yellow rice. Tasty. And a diet Mountain Dew.
