Thunderbird Club

Thanks. Nah. The back killer 4x10. It’s likely to stay put most of the time. It’s only 55 lbs, but I know the shape isn’t ideal. I hemmed and hawed, 2x12 (which made the most sense) or 2x15, but finally decided to just get it. I loved how it sounded with a WD at the shop some time back when they first came out and just decided to do it. I can always add something a bit smaller if I want/need to.
Or a hand truck. Those are pretty cheap at Home Depot. Even cheaper if you get one from U-Haul.

Yes, and a few used "pop" and no one I recall ever calling is "soda." That's what you took for an upset stomach.

I can't remember how people referred to soft drinks when I lived in Kentucky (Late 78 thru mid 82) but I remember regional drinks like Ski and Double Cola. Growing up in Ohio everything was "Pop" to us. I remember when Barq's only seemed available down south when we would visit family and something I always looked forward to. Now I rarely drink any soda but I do have a strange fondness for blue creme soda.

Most often "coke" was what people used. I don't drink but maybe one "coke" a week if that. But I do like real creme soda. Not that horrible red junkie juice stuff that is also called creme soda. I believe Shasta Creme Soda was a light blue. Good stuff. I don't think there's such a thing any longer, not here anyway.

For a special treat, we would pour a small bag of Planters Peanuts into a bottle of RC Cola. Did other parts of the country do this? Hadn't thought of this in years. We also froze Reese's Peanut Butter Cups prior to eating them.
I've heard of it, but never done it. I think it was more common years ago. But we are now dating ourselves. (That can be taken in a really literal and weird way these days...)

Damn i've a lot to catch up on, been gone for way longer than i thought :D

however, in regards to soda, i've grown up where both soda & pop were used interchangeably (born in 94, so this must've been more early 00's for me). I enjoy cream soda (both real & junkie juice xp) however its the only soda that doesnt quench my thirst.

Probably why i stick to root beer. Not much a fan of coke/pepsi although i'll drink them once in a blue moon.

I grew up in a Coca Cola only house. It’s the way it was. And my house is still primarily Coke when it comes to soft drinks. But I’ve cut way back in recent years. Still love a nice cold one once in awhile though.

It is cool! I wasn't aware of that bass, it looks much like one of JAE's ExplorerBirds.
It's also hella expensive, over 30K. Yes, it's a historical bass and all but as for finding pictures or footage of Tom Peterson actually playing it, I doubt there's any.
