After having "Cuban" night a coupla nights ago(and sufficient chicken and black beans for one more go-just gotta make rice), tonight was gourmet Italian night. Some very good Semolina pasta with a red sauce consisting of tomato paste, ground beef, rosemary, marjoram, basil, savory, thyme, onion, and, of course, garlic, topped with grated Parmesan and Romano cheese. In other words, Chef Boiardi Beefaroni.:smug:

After a couple months of mainly playing the CP, I spent a good bit of lunch yesterday and today playing the VP, and now remember why I liked it right off, though I just can't love the RS66s. But I realized a big part of why the intonation is off on the E is not that the bridge needs more adjustment; there's something off with the nut. If I tune the open E, the F (first fret) is sharp a couple of bars (Pitchblack tuner in meter mode), as is pretty much every other position all the way up the neck. If I tune the string to F with the first position fretted, everything is good but the open E is a couple bars down. Weird. I haven't visually inspected the nut yet. That's at lunch tomorrow, hopefully.
There might be one fret that's slightly off as well; I was checking this when I needed to wrap up so it was rushed.

This is from a visit to RAF Hendon in 2009, interesting because there's only two intact examples of these left in the world. For scale, I'm 6' 3" and this thing is a beast!

I'm a front line guy.I'm in Covid patients rooms and their areas almost every day.At least I know who is sick and can protect myself accordingly.I hope they can ramp up availability for everyone soon.
Also Bass Players are considered essential in my area..so I've got that going for me..
I guess they want to keep me alive at work a little longer. :)
