Thunderbird Club

Thank you. Very kind of you. They are great people and I hate to see them go through this. He was mildly sick for about 7 days or so, then had trouble breathing and went to the VA. They transferred him to another local hospital in Indiana, just across the river. Every treatment I know of (like most really) works well early on, but has diminishing returns as time goes on.

Anyway, it was Thursday once this week...

How'ed that get in there?

Oh boy, that Precision's a smoke show. What year is it? Is it an original or AVRI?

That’s cool. Welcome. All Thunderbirds (and even the occasional P bass) are welcome here.
Did someone say an occasional P bass is welcome? I guess it's Fender Friday then, here's my 1968 treasure...

Turns out I did post before. I'm in the club.

I love that green one on the bottom. I wish the company that made the Ukes still produced them. I think you qualify as a club member here if you aren't already enrolled. It's a great fast moving forum centered (loosely) around Thunderbird type basses. We even have a couple of uke players here, me and an Aussie, maybe more.

There's one available here in classifieds. For Sale/Trade - Savannah "Lightning" Mini Bass (Like Kala U-Bass) - model STB-700

Fender Friday (with birds) has been doable at my house since 1981! These all moved on long ago but the ones on the ends have been replaced. If I ever fins another Eagle I can afford, I'll complete this trifecta again.

Ah, but most importantly, what happened to the Sunn cab!

You are short half a bass...
Or you have half a bass too much.

Recently sold the other half, waiting on payment for this half! Neck was too chunky for my liking, even the Telecaster's neck is honestly too fat, but I put up with it since it's vintage. If Fender were to do a proper Tele bass reissue like the older AVRIs, I'd promptly purchase one and have the neck shaved down to more closely match the AVRI '62 Precision neck, which I still stand by as just about the most comfortable neck on any bass I've ever played.
