Kind of a bunch of snow today. 40-50cm (that is about a foot and a half to those still on antiquated measurement systems).

Way. Botulism in one arm, anthrax in the other. As soon as the swelling started going down for the botulism shot, the anthrax shot swelled up.

You need a good vintage camera shop. Get yourself a Fuji 67 folder. Wish I had bought one when they came out 15 years ago.
No surprise at all, given the only problems with them are the horrendous neck dive and headstocks popping off. Oh wait...I must say, I'm rather surprised I haven't seen more Epi VPs in the classifieds or used on various websites. I'm keeping an eye out for white one since Sweetwater says they won't be back in stock until sometime in March, and haven't seen any land in classifieds and few on other sites like Reverb (or if they do, they almost the same price as a new one so might as well wait). I understand people liking them and keeping them, but given the price I would have figured more people would have bought them to try out and figured they just weren't for them, but I guess I'm wrong!
Likely. Scott told me once that those were likely the closest to the '60s versions, but the VPs were amazingly close for the money. I've not given up the thought of doing that to my '06 Gibson if I ever run across a set of ProBucker PUs. An affordable match made in Nashville and Korea or wherever the ProBuckers are made.I guess the closest I'll be able to come to that is to put some Thunderbuckers into one of my 2013s.
Holy Mesa!!!There is no doubt that you would be happy with the TT800 and your new cab..at least you can move it by your self. Here’s your new rigs grandfather.

That's just good.Looks like Fender Friday is here again. Here's a pic of my favorite Fender right now. Probably my favorite because it sounds more like a Gibson than a Fender...

I've had shingles. You wold want to get that shot every year if need be to keep from getting that nasty stuff. But I think your experience is not uncommon. Others mention similar after effects. I've yet to get mine. A few years ago when they came out the doc said to wait. He said you're more likely to get it the older you get and he wasn't sure how effective the vaccine was long term. He also didn't like being early in line for a new vaccine. In California I think they're determining vaccine availability at the county level. I'm in Ventura county and the cut off is 65 and older. In neighboring Santa Barbara it appears to be 70 and older. Probably driven by the amount of vaccine each county has on hand and the number of people in that county in that age bracket. I'm in no rush to get it, the longer I wait the more data surfaces about the safety and efficacy of the vaccine.
On a related note, a couple of years ago I got the shingles vaccine. It was a two part injection as well. Son of a gun, that first injection kicked like a mule. I had a Charlie horse in my arm that made it painful to play my Thunderbirds for three days straight (and I have a very high tolerance for pain). Obviously still worth it (I assume, since I haven't had shingles yet). Hopefully the COVID shots are a bit less painful.
I got my shingles shots last summer. They are more painful than a flu shot, but not horrible.I've had shingles. An eight string Hamer Thunderbird with Concrete Blonde and an absolutely gut wrenching version of "Joey"
That bass was once Tom Petersson's, now Mr. Baz Cooper's.
''Happy Friday to my Thunderbird loving sisters and brothers! I hope all are staying well and enjoying a relaxing evening. Grateful for the weekend to arrive. I thought I would post these two Fenders....with a Gibson in between. All three are sweet basses, each in their own way. I hope you all have a great long weekend. Stay warm.
That Explorer is a great bass. It balances well and is more comfortable to play than perhaps I expected. I bought it on a lark, but have been glad I did. I suspect some chrome would look very sharp on it!Love that Explorer! Kinda want one to put some chromey bits on!
We had a gig tonight, during which I found out tomorrow night's gig is CX'ed.That Explorer is a great bass. It balances well and is more comfortable to play than perhaps I expected. I bought it on a lark, but have been glad I did. I suspect some chrome would look very sharp on it!
Aaaarrrggh!Gig tonight went well. We cleared them out early. Gig tomorrow night 86'ed.SW has an ebony 'demo' for $629. Just sayin'.
SW's known for standing behind their sales. 'Course we all stand behind our basses. Otherwise we couldn't play 'em.
On another note(Db),gigs tonight and tomorrow night.sort of
