Thunderbird Club

I agree but they seem to be a boutique builder so I would imagine they could put any pups in there. I like that they added a little upper fret access while not drastically changing the vibe.
something about a p/j setup on a Bird just plain looks wrong....that and the bolt on neck are showstoppers for me....that said, it probably sounds really really good (P/J on steroids)...

Could be right, possibly metric, or using watermelons as some kind of unit of measure
Melon-newtons. kilo-crenshaws, and honeydews are perfectly acceptable measures in Canada!

I really like my P/J--best I've ever played, but it's no Thunderbird. And I don't want a Thunderbird to sound like P/J. Some have them and love them, and I guess that's all that matters, but it's lost on me. In fact, I think I'd rather have a P/J sound like a Thunderbird.

I'm a fan of the 3-point, too, never have quite figured out all the hate for it. Of course, I don't like to micro-adjust the strings (among other things), if for no other reason than it would give my ocd fits :nailbiting:

Mine's not as pretty, so I figured I'd do 3-shots for a 3-point :)

Yeah, I have nothing against the 3-point. I went to the Hipshot mostly because of the adjustable string spacing.
