My wife and I have a house built in 1906. There have been a few earthquakes out here since 1906, so the foundation had cracks. I epoxied them up about ten years ago. It's not hard to do. There are pourable polyurethanes that would work for cracks in a slab better than epoxy. The key is to fill the crack with an epoxy or an expanding UV stable rubberized caulking. Cracks in concrete are gonna happen over time but they usually won't get catastrophic if you can keep them sealed. Water undercutting the dirt below the slab and moisture in a freeze thaw environment are the real killers for concrete. Seal it and you'll probably be good to go for another 20+ years.
Is it an illusion or is Bonham using light sticks? How could that be possible? Considering how hard he hits I'd think he'd be swingin' logs!
Count mistakes. First to 100 wins.Since it's not jazz I'll say clams![]()
I think he used fairly light sticks. His grip is interesting, too. Sticks are a funny thing. Kinda like strings, only for people who drool more.
Maybe. But they weren't when they wrote the ad.They were upright when they took the pics?
Ok, the rest of that is a problem, but you are OK if you like bacon.Oh, no. Nononono. Bacon is awesome
I don't understand how vegetarians live without that....![]()
Country ham and red eye gravy from western North Carolina. It probably shortens your life by weeks every time you even think about it, but it's worth it.Not sure I've ever had that one.
Maybe a different part of the South?
Or maybe under a different name?
I come from (one of) the hillbilly-lands, where things with fanciful, or fanciful-sounding, names are....let's say, frowned upon
Mmmm....(properly) fried okra. I miss (properly) fried okra

All the best to you and your wife. I hope it works, and that's all I got.130 pages in the month I was away. Good job, TBird'ers!
For those that also know me from Facebook, I kept all details of my absence off that platform as well and request that it continues.
Long story short, I took my wife to Mexico for a stem cell transplant to treat her failing health from the vicious disease of MS.
Knowing full well that nothing is guaranteed in life, we took this opportunity to try this treatment because we felt we had no choice. Her health decline had begun to accelerate and we were put into a now or never situation and we went for it.
I missed you guys and the Thunderbird discussions we engage in and all the other topics we stray into as well.
But hey, I'm back... just thought to do some explaining. No need to continue this off topic MS thing here in the thread but if anyone wants to PM about it out of interest or need for information regarding MS treatment, feel free to hit me up. I now know a ton more about it having gone through this process with my wife and if MS is affecting you or a loved one, I can point you in the right direction for this type of treatment.
Peace and love, peace and love...
I don't know the exact size, but if there's a decent hardware store within range, you might be able to take one there and get something close enough to work. That's what I would do. I'm also CroMagnon, so take anything I say with that in mind.Just got my hands on a bolt on epiphone, I'm loving it so far but it needs a bit of TLC (and maybe a babicz bridge). Does anyone know what size screws are used for the pickups? The current ones are almost stripped.

Off hand I don't know the screw size, but if you remove one and measure the length (also note if it's a flat or round head, Phillips, and if the threads run the full length) I'd bet these guys carry it...Just got my hands on a bolt on epiphone, I'm loving it so far but it needs a bit of TLC (and maybe a babicz bridge). Interesting. People around here do epoxy injection to fix basemen cracks, but I was unaware there's a way to do it yourself. Is Bing my friend? My wife and I have a house built in 1906. I don't know if Bing would help. Construction supply houses that commercial contractors use probably would be your friend.Interesting. People around here do epoxy injection to fix basemen cracks, but I was unaware there's a way to do it yourself. Is Bing my friend?
wait... Sharon & Karen ?
This guy pretty much sums up how to do it yourself. If the crack is indoors be sure to use a low VOC filler to minimize off gassing and odor.Interesting. People around here do epoxy injection to fix basemen cracks, but I was unaware there's a way to do it yourself. Is Bing my friend?
