Could Jackie do a few before totally hanging it up?
And is that a Hustler by your left ear?

We're done with Jackie, no going back there as we really had to draw a line and move on from her.

Yes that's a Hustler by my left ear! I collect them, there are many variations in paint colors, my very first HO loco!

I'm such a dork!

Oh. Didn't mean to pick a scab.

Cool. Somebody used to make a geared chassis for those things. Long time ago.

Auditions not working out or not done yet ?
That exotic lady still in the mix ?

We haven't started yet as no one in the band save me has even a first shot yet - it'll come likely in April or May. Frank and I are taking a short trip to interview another woman that lives in Pt. Townsend, she can belt it out pretty well, I've heard her on a CD she's done. My original person is still very much in the mix too, she's on her way to Israel for a couple weeks and will be ready upon her return.........Stuff's happening, just not fast enough for me, seeing Scott, Mike and Chucky out playing is just making me a bit crazy to get at it again.

I tried to get a couple of pics that show how nice the finish is, but it isn't a good representation. It's really quite nice.
... I think I will be happy with this one. :bassist:
...and if for some reason you aren't, you can probably off load it in this direction.;)
V8 in an MGB....:hyper:...
Suicide on wheels!
Had a buddy back in the 1970's that dropped a souped up 289 mustang V8 in an Austin Healey Sprite and tubbed the rear end shortened the axle and put drag slicks on it. He trailered it to the drag strip where the engine torque combined with the sticky tires promptly bent the frame on the first run.

Smile, you have a beautiful bird in your hands!

Tell me about it! I’ve got 3 freshly resto-modded basses I haven’t gigged yet.

I love my RW Precision enough to think about trying a RW Jazz. Normally I dislike Jazz Basses almost completely. But never say never.
The RW literally blew my mind. I was so frustrated with Jazz basses and had spent a small fortune on them and replacement pickups. I stopped at the House of Guitars on my way to rehearsal and bought the RW on a whim and to my surprise I plugged in in and there was the sound I was looking for. I was going to upgrade the pickups but there is no need.

I feel ya.
Same here, getting antsy revisiting the band's setlist and making small improvements/corrections in my basslines.
Hopefully you find that special singer soon and get a sense of forward movement.

We had a couple kids in high school who tried that with their Pintos. Didn’t work out for them very well either.

The brown truck brought something fun today. It popped up on GC's site the other day and I couldn't pass it up. It was a total of $342 shipped with the fitted Epi case. I had a $50 gift card so I actually paid $292 for it. It is need of a proper cleaning and the strings are beyond dead but those things are easily remedied. Has a few scratches on the back but still in great overall condition. Well worth the price of admission.

well done!
