A clean shave, a velvet shirt, and heavy Thunderbird song, heading off into Saturday night:
Still one of my favorite second albums by a band.

The brown truck brought something fun today. It popped up on GC's site the other day and I couldn't pass it up. It was a total of $342 shipped with the fitted Epi case. I had a $50 gift card so I actually paid $292 for it. It is need of a proper cleaning and the strings are beyond dead but those things are easily remedied. Has a few scratches on the back but still in great overall condition. Well worth the price of admission.

Baffles the mind....

That's how I felt about the Precision. I haven't been a Fender guy ever, but that one followed me home and will never leave. Guess I'll have to try a RW Jazz one of these days to see if I become a convert. That weird looking pink they paint those is pretty amusing. The RW literally blew my mind. I was so frustrated with Jazz basses and had spent a small fortune on them and replacement pickups. I stopped at the House of Guitars on my way to rehearsal and bought the RW on a whim and to my surprise I plugged in in and there was the sound I was looking for. I was going to upgrade the pickups but there is no need.
We aren't even rehearsing together again yet. Maybe in another month or so. I wouldn't want to subject the world to any of my bands in their currently unrehearsed state.I feel ya.
Same here, getting antsy revisiting the band's setlist and making small improvements/corrections in my basslines.
Hopefully you find that special singer soon and get a sense of forward movement.
Here is stupid. Two stroke V8 in what appears to be an aluminum bodied Volvo.Holy s**t!
You could have a '60s Thunderbird for that price. And you wouldn't step on a Thunderbird. That's so dumb. There are so many Klon klones (heh heh) that I bet most people wouldn't be able to tell the difference in a blind test.
lol, rehearsed? what's that? speaking of Precisions...We aren't even rehearsing together again yet. Maybe in another month or so. I wouldn't want to subject the world to any of my bands in their currently unrehearsed state.
Sounds fun!
I played yesterday, and play this Sunday. Feels so good!We aren't even rehearsing together again yet. Maybe in another month or so. I wouldn't want to subject the world to any of my bands in their currently unrehearsed state.

It's a long way from Nashville, I'd escort it back to the States.
