Thunderbird Club

It's Thursday!
Frank and I met with the folks from BECU (Boeing Employees Credit Union) today to discuss home equity, happily there's quite a bit and after a few formalities we'll be able to go forward with a new roof and a '60s Thunderbird.

Hello all. I have a little bitty question for you all. I want to replace the knobs on my VP and the ones on there now are a bit tight. Anyone know if they’re glued, or what? Recommendations for removal without damaging them (or the pristine white finish) would be most welcome. I really want silver instead of gold, but reversibility is paramount for this project. Thank you for any and all imparted wisdoms.
I doubt they are glued. One trick is to slip a rag under the knob and pull up on the rag.
I find the gold knobs are hard to read.

Nice! I’m going to have to come down to check that 64.

My first guitar amp was a TV something like this with a 12" speaker and an RCA jack on the back for a mono turntable. I've played bass through a variety of things over the years though, once out here I played through a 2 watt Phillips tube radio with an 8" speaker, sounded pretty good in my apartment actually.
