1951 Fender Bass | eBay

Winner gets a new bass gig bag (you pay the shipping).
Hint: the price isn't incorrect, it's just insane.

I wonder if that's a Rosser body?

Might be, I was thinking it might be one of the old Warmoth bird bodies before they nixed them.

I didn't know they had done NRs, a deeper rout for the pocket would help.

Hah. I bet an oil change for your 911 costs more than a JC bass.
LOL - that's an understatement.

Between the Porsche Cayenne, the Cayman, the 911 and my wife's Boxster we spend about $4000 a year on oil and fluid changes. Those are the cheap years. The painful year is when a scheduled major service hits - easily $2000 per car. The killer year is when new tires are needed on top of everything else.
When the planets align and all the cars need major scheduled service and tires were looking at something in excess of $15,000. Don't even get me started on brakes (ceramic with rotors on just the Cayenne) are something around $10,000. Thank goodness these cars virtually never break down or I'd be out some real money. :dead:

One of these days I'll scale back, but that'll most likely be when I'm too old to really enjoy driving, and when I do cut back on car costs I'll be perfectly budgeted to buy a vintage TBird or two a year. :D
