Wow! Probably took longer to open it up than troubleshoot.these little 15 Watters scream....can totally see why this trend stuck...this one was was deemed eol but it just needed a fuse holder!..

No problem-o(Spanish, ya know). Just an expression I've used for decades. I cut it back from 'to each his own' to 'tweetchie zone'. Sounds the same either way.
Looks like F.G.I. Technology, which a quick search verifies are Fernandes branded active pickups. Once I clean it up and get some new strings on it I'll do a test and see how they sound.
This is the perfect J that Leo was shooting for. Just didn't live long enough.

My brothers have been after me for years to get this done with my old lawsuit Ibanez SG guitar. Since I'm clan elder and most are playing some instrument in my family, they sort of look at that guitar as the starting point for that thing we have in common.

I had Playola custom make that case to fit a Thunderbird, it was a bit spendy compared to their off the shelf stuff,my only excuse is that I bleed Thunderbirds......Lifelong.

Of the 4 I own, this is by far my favorite - my Fender Adam Clayton in purple sparkle.
It has the most punch, growl & bottom end of any Jazz I've ever played.
