I have done work on semi acoustics. It’s not really that difficult, but you do need to be patient. I wouldn’t mess with it unless there’s an issue.

I had a cheap ES-335 clone that needed a bunch of work. I had no books, and it was pre-internet, so I figured out how to fish the wiring harness out and reinstall it on my own. It was a pretty suboptimal process, but I git it done. Bit of a pain. Having a typewriter repair tool with a hook on the end and some quality stainless forceps helped.

Ooooh. Which Linux?

Trying out Linux Mint 20.2, to see if it's what I want on the new computer. So far, so good...:nailbiting:

Also, @KaraQ , post all the pics of that bird you want. Color correct or not, I love it.

It is pretty great, both color and sound.
Because it's a 2nd, it's got a couple of minor cosmetic issues that I don't care about, and has a high fret at 16th? fret on the G-string.
Well, D-string, since it's BEAD atm.
But it sounds great, the B-string sounds better on the Redbird than on the Pro 5.....

For most anything else, I'd have no real problem with the way the pics turn out (mostly). It's just, I can't seem to get what this one actually looks like. I would try my "real" camera, but it's an antique (almost 20 years old! :jawdrop: ), and is not as good as the one in my phone
There are a few of us round here who appreciate antique cameras. Mine all use film...
