If I remember correctly, the 2013s were a mixed bag in that respect.
Wasn't my first choice, but they had them in stock and I also was able to get 24 months 0% financing.

Support group? You're joking. We're pushers man.LOL - you might be on to something there. Red in bone stock, Green with the pots in a row, and blue with a bridge cover and hard tail added.
I clearly have a problem (lots of them actually) and obviously need to set up a go-fund-me site to help fund my addiction rehab. Of course, like many rehab plans, there’s a tapering off period before complete cessation.
I figure that tapering off process will require about 4 or 5 more birds, then I’m done, unless of course I fall off the wagon.
And if I do, I’m sure I can count on this support group to guide me in the right direction.

Fantastic demo! Pick, finger, multi finger, tone up and down, pups soloed and combined, multiple right hand placements, harmonics, chords, fills and runs, muting and sustain, and best of all - no slapping or talking! Well done sir! Also showed off the color nicely with lighting at different angles while playing. Now I want one extra bad.
I'm not sure where GC warehouses, but their headquarters is real close to you. You could probably order it now and have it Thursday. Just sayin'.

Is it my imagination, or do those pickups have a much wider range than what my ‘18 came with? They sound great! I like them a lot!

Yes the tone is very wide. I was quite surprised the first time I plugged it in. I normally play flats on everything, but may keep rounds on this because of the available range.
Sorry, just saw this. Here's two pics of the case. It's very nice and came with some goodies, including an actual developed picture of what I assume it's this bass at the shop.
Nice! Congrats on a bass that certainly brings out some envy, but in a good way.

I'm sorry but that just sounds awful and look like it has neck dive. I'm glad I don't want one now.
(All that is a far from the truth as is possible. I'm just telling myself that so I don't start getting any more needy about owning one.)

I was really hoping for the black case like the ‘13. Not that I mind the brown ones, I just prefer the texture of the black material and white lining.
