Yeah, I wasn't going to go for that one. But I'm not above low hanging fruit. Should have taken it where ever it's found.Might you say you're green with envy?

When mine arrives, I’ll trade you straight up for your ‘64.I'm sorry but that just sounds awful and look like it has neck dive. I'm glad I don't want one now.
(All that is a far from the truth as is possible. I'm just telling myself that so I don't start getting any more needy about owning one.)
The real question is - does it have a vanilla scent? Love that initial olfaction impact when first opening a new Gibson case.I was really hoping for the black case like the ‘13. Not that I mind the brown ones., I just prefer the texture of the black material and white lining.
I'll certainly keep that in mind and as soon as I start hating that old thing I'll give you a call. It's old and you probably like new and shiny. But you are first on the list in case both of my grey cells stop connecting. When mine arrives, I’ll trade you straight up for your ‘64.

But which '64 were you talking about?

Shoot. Should have known you'd spot the VP on the left.Trying to pull a fast one?
dunno.....that case looks pretty good......more vintage?I was really hoping for the black case like the ‘13. Not that I mind the brown ones, I just prefer the texture of the black material and white lining.
Here's a quick video I made. Little over driven on the mic, but you can hear it pretty good. And I apologize for all the noodling around E

Not to worry. These things are going to be flooding the market used once the original owners figure out these things are awful..... The trick is to not brag about any that post pics or sound clips. That gigantic neck, the input being in the wrong place (whichever place it's in) and the knobs line up--or don't, etc. Tried and true neck dive thing to throw out as well. Even rag on the shabby case. "Brown? Who does that?" If we can just plant a couple seeds of doubt we just might luck into one!And I think my Sweetwater Card is maxed out for a while! Very nice Bird.
Well, from what I heard on the demo, they can sound like a P or a J, but why'd ya wanna? Not to worry. I am actually hoping a non-Thunderbird player will be enamored with the looks and buy it and not really be for them (since it doesn't sound like a Pbass or a Jbass), and they start hitting the market lightly used. That is not gonna happen with anybody in this thread as they know a great thing when they see/hear one. But somewhere out there there are some impulse buyers who just have to buy since they've been stimulated a couple times, but for some reason it won't work for them. I am banking on their bad calculation.
needs slap for thoroughness….Fantastic demo! Pick, finger, multi finger, tone up and down, pups soloed and combined, multiple right hand placements, harmonics, chords, fills and runs, muting and sustain, and best of all - no slapping or talking! Well done sir! Also showed off the color nicely with lighting at different angles while playing. Now I want one extra bad.
Why would ya wanna slap yer 'Bird?needs slap for thoroughness….![]()

so it’s not a one trick pony? Why would ya wanna slap yer 'Bird?![]()
Hmm. I thought it was chickens.same reason some choke their monkeys?…![]()

stand corrected, thanks Mike..This may be true to some extent. I'm predicting a hit. Especially after the guys at Anderton's post a vid. But you'll probably only save on sales tax. Plus shipping is so high now. I don't see any advantage to waiting for a used one unless it's a local only sale. Not to worry.
