Sounds nice! What gauge TI’s you running?
I only run them on my ‘67 Hofner and LOVE them, but fear they’d be too floppy for my tastes on a long scale bass

It's the JF344 Set. They are definitely an acquired taste for long scale instruments, but I've grown to love them.

I briefly checked out that Fender thread. Same old tired nonsense ‘arguments’ that have been going on in TB for years. I’ve got a P bass. It’s awesome. They were my daily drivers for years, but who cares? It’s just a bass that doesn’t sound like anything at all until I pick it up and play it.
I once did a record with one of my side bands (Prayer Flags) that was recorded over a two year period. I played a Peavey T-40, an AMSTD P bass, a Gibson G3, my Drake w/ TV Jones blades and a custom shop First Act hollowbody with a Darkstar and humbucker. I’d happily pay anyone a thousand bucks if they could correctly identify which was which on each track. The only reason I can’t make that offer is I’m not 100% sure myself on a couple tunes

His son was an asst basketball coach here (UofL) for a a few years. He came with Chris Mack, but Chris fired a bunch of coaches and Murry was one of them. Finding Bill at that games was always a thing for the camera people (if present).
