the case had that sticker too, but I took it off (but did not throw in the garbage), so I can glue it back. Is the made in Canada a good thing? It says made in Canada inside the case too.

Kinda reminds me of Lemmy's Ric, especially if I turn up the tone & bridge pickup (instead of mostly neck pickup....), and use both distortions.....

I tightened the trussrod, and now the action is 2,0 on E and 1,5 mm on G, so this is around my normal preference. And there is still relief, and no buzz. So maybe I ordered the Hipshot a little to hasty…
But no problem, I see what I do when I get it, and if I don’t need it, I can always sell it.

I think that may be a matter of opinion.
As a guess, I am thinking perhaps made by Yorkville (or whomever makes the cases for Yorkville) and why Yorkville can have cases that always seem to be a good fit.

Indeed, it was the 80's that things started going down hill as far as I'm concerned. At least after the very early 80s anyway, at least for my tastes. Not that there was nothing good, just seemed to get odd(er).
