I listened to a song my band error with my raw bass track on it- Epi CP through a SansAmp DI. Yep, that's why Thunderbirds. I really did this bass.
Maybe next year for a VP, but I'm happy with my 2013 CP.

Seems like a rather odd request, but who am I to judge another mans habits.

I tried to step in but accidentally stepped on, which made the headstock fly off and it went clean through the wall and hit a man in Reno but we didn’t watch him die, or at least I didn’t because I was on the lam - note, not lamb, though I did have a gyro for lunch - but not from the regular police or even the Thunderbird Desecration police, but the grammar police because I went way over-budget on punctuation and got caught in a run-on sentence trap.
Send lawyers, birds, and money and yes I took out an Oxford Comma Loan from the feds.

That may be the longest sentence I've ever read. Certainly in a long time. But it looks as though you violated no objective grammar laws, which are somehow fluid anyway, so you should get off with a warning and no fine.

Another, apparently rare uncommon, 70s Japanese creation, a JooDee: neck-thru, with full width inlays, and checker binding. Between this and the Greco, I'll be out roughly the cost of a Mexican Fender (Vintera series), plus a bit of shipping.

Not Thunderbirds, I know, I know, but neck-thru! And no tort!

I think so. When I had the EpiBird 5er-which didn't have any-parts may have gotten switched when I bought repros for the 5er. That's been a while.

Where are you finding these? I live in a lawsuit era wasteland, and have never seen any Greco in person, and I own one of the 2 Tokai I have ever held.

Several reasons....
Now it's like the '60 s version, also it's how most of my other pickup 'Birds are laid out, down to the uneven spacing between the knobs, and to me it looks better. I'm not saying that anyone else has to like it or change theirs.
I'll try to post a few thoughts in the next week or so.

I'm leaning towards keeping the knobs stock when mine lands. Assuming it has them offset like most most of them. I can see the tone knob better when it's offset.

That's Inverness Green, I'll shoot some more pics in a couple days, I did already swap positions of the input jack and tone pot, easily done in less than 5 minutes.

I like the look of the 3 pots inline, even though it would function better as it is. Mine is prolly gonna get changed.

It looks like I will have my bird long before I get my Embassy bass, I just got a November date for that...

I'm actually more anxious to get the embassy than I am the bird...
