When he mentioned your breeches I left it alone.....Ah oui ?
Still on painkillers ?
He played a Pelham Blue Firebird once all decked out in chrome that was likely the best looking guitar I've ever seen. Might be it.Looks like her guitarist plays a Firebird.
Ouch! But it was awful funny. The snapping was Mike's joints.
Might end up being the best playing bass you own. My '06 is that good.Thx ! She plays well, will do better after a little fret cleaning and new strings .

Thunderbird spotting.
“How should I know? Go ask Engle.”I had someone once ask me if it was a Precision Bass.
But that’s anti-neck-dive weight! With LPs it would likely add up and work. NR Thunderbirds, not so much. But maybe it's just to cut down on weight. Gibson does really think things through.![]()
Ha! You had me believing your explanation was really on target till you got to the electrocution part. It doesn't have batteries so that can't possibly be right. One would think you engineers would notice such important details. Hopefully Miles can step in can clear all this up.![]()
OK, I'm going to have to correct you and @GBassNorth . Just as the speakers in your cabinet are motors, the pickups and strings actually form a generator. That is the (AC) signal that your amp amplifies.
So, your thunderbird generates electricity. No wonder people are scared of thunderbirds (the neckdive and headstock are just covering for the fear).
“What a strange force. All the French cars at the ‘we sew’ dance forgot their pants.”Quelle force étrange. J’ai des citrons et des oiseaux dans les pantalons.
That looks beyond beautiful! I’m so glad they went with chrome on this series of NR basses, it just makes everything pop.View attachment 4364082 The Non Reverse has landed!
That is what you call "relicing". You have to pay extra for it when it is done on the outside of the body.
Beautiful!!!
