Thunderbird Club

My tastes are very eclectic. But I can honestly say I have never listened to a full song of theirs.
I can find things in almost any genre of music (except opera), that I love--and I can't stand in each as well. I've tried to like some things/artists (that I won't name), but just can't acquire a taste, and the more I listen the more I dislike them.

Thunderbird Thursday with toes…

Thanks for the vid. I enjoyed it. Perry's song, not so much. It's not that I dislike all singers of that era, in fact, I love Dean Martin.
Dad had a Perry Como record but he was more into Bing Crosby & Johnny Mathis as crooners. He had a bit of Harry Belafonte and Louis Armstrong as well plus The Seekers. Later on he had a James Last trumpet CD and something by Herb Alpert.

But by the end I got him so he bought Chuck Berry best of and a Dr Hook best of. That’s about as rock as he got.

Wonderful weather (as is almost always the case) in Malibu at one of the beaches. Always interesting to see what photo shoot and which celebs are working the beach that day. Today was packed with Lambo, Bentley, Ferrari, McClaren and Porsche cars all kitted up with cameras…

They had a water truck hosing down the street for effect and at one point the fire hydrant hose got out of hand whipping through the air and drenching everything in site. The guy in the Bentley nearly got hosed and wasn’t happy…

Fortunately no THUNDERBIRDS were in harms way.

One of my favorite albums as a kid. I was the only kid/person I knew who had one of his records. The cover was interesting as a young boy as well. Years later I realized there was a plane.

Looks like where Jim Rockford lived. It was the only trailer in Malibu.

A beautiful early Autumn day here, a very pleasant 66 degrees, metallic burnt orange seems right for the season. Happy Thursday!

As I was taking this shot I heard the different sound of a passing aircraft (I live near SeaTac airport), I don't often look at the planes as they pass by, but a different sound will cause me to pay attention........Anywho, if you closely you'll see a C-130 in the pattern for the 3rd runway, highly unusual for military aircraft to frequent the field.

There's a Perry Como ditty running thru my head today................

Perry Como? I've got the theme from the Hercules cartoon now, thank you very much.

Beautiful bass and beautiful area!

Please don't be thinking of "I'm Dreaming......"!

The KY Air and National Guard is based here and C-130s are very common, but they never get old. I love the sound of big prop engines, preferably old. Seems weird, but it's such a cool sound.

I just love the sound of planes. Props are definitely cool and the Herc has a music of its own.

Even when they play Rush songs?
