That AMX never gets old. Love those cars. Absolutely one of the coolest ever made at any time.Agreed. Small engines obviously can be more powerful these days, but nothing sounds like a big throaty V8 that you can feel as well as hear.Agreed, but as far as new goes, that's not bad.
I was telling Sharon this afternoon as we got passed by a brand new Mustang making a rather high-pitched roar, "I completely understand why they're gone, but I really miss the sound of big V8s."
Let me help...My French, it's weak![]()

“désolé ma reine” …rough translation is… “Desolate Marines”
“Je suis désolé. Puis-je offrir un câlin?” …rough translation is… “Hey, Sue is desolate and Police Officers are calling”
Not sure what any of that has to do with you being stuck at work, but if I were there I’d give ya a big hug.
Sorry to hear that. Better to know that and move on than go with someone who won't fit or work long term. A no hire is better than a bad hire.Second audition for a guitarist tonight, I don't think this one's going to work out.......Ah well, at least I get to play the bass for awhile.
Alloy 52 comes from Area 51.My '64 Thunderbird has had Infeld's on it for years. I had some Roto 66s on hand and since they used to be the string I had on that bass I thought I'd give them a try again. Used them for a couple weeks and put the Infeld's back on. It was just two weeks in live settings, but boy did I miss the Infeld's. With the Rotos I kept thinking something was missing. Hard to believe, I know. The bass just lacked some big and punch with the Rotos. Used the Infeld's today and now I know why I never thought about trying anything else. Massive and punchy. I also noticed the Roto's in 105 was doing a lot more pulling on the neck than the Indeld's, so the neck is likely happier as well. Every string I've tried with Alloy52 in it I've liked.
Neighbor of the... Oh, never mind.Alloy 52 comes from Area 51.
