Nice!

So a number of folks here have a Casady. How do you like yours? Do you find you only use one setting on the rotary knob? How’s it balance?

I have a few semi hollow body basses and do like what they have to offer, but no JC bass yet. That and a Warwick Star bass are on my short list for non Tbird purchases.

PS - I might need to purchase some custom stick on or decal work from you if you’re still doing that. PM me if you’re interested and I’ll fill you in.

That sucks. It’s also possible FedEx delivered to the wrong address. That’s happened here, but with no signature needed and happily with honest (annoyed) neighbors.

I wish it were as simple as that - no.., their own records state the correct address. I call driver criminal
I had a tube tester restored a few years ago and Fedex dropped it or something as it didn't work when I received it, I had insured it for 600 bucks, I had to fight like heck to get my money, many, many phone calls and emails later and I finally got it, I don't remember how long it took to get it but it was longer than a few weeks. Don't give up, bug them, threaten them, keep calling, etc. If they can get away with it they will, I'm not saying this is exclusively a Fedex problem but I always ship UPS or USPS now unless I have no choice.
You might want to talk to a cop about this, it sounds like possible fraud.

Yes - forging a signature is certainly illegal. I have some thoughts about how to proceed. Thanks for your thoughts on the matter.

I wish... but in this case not likely.

Forgery or negligence on the driver's part, because someone has to sign that right in front of the driver, I mean the guy who signed it (if it's not the driver) couldn't have come out of your house, someone walked down the road and signed it, know what i mean?

No, logic says otherwise - but corporate could care less... easier to 'pay off' then to look into seriously. Maybe the insurance arm will look deeper.

<snip> F-FedEx.

No - not doing you a favor - not doing their f-ing JOB! ...and yes - UPS and USPS are my favored shippers. F-FedEx

Not making me feel all that good about the delivery notice I received last night for my wife's anniversary band... jeez. The email said that it hand to be signed for by a resident of the home that was older than 21 years of age.

I told the wife that she had to wait until I got home from work to open it if it was delivered while I wasn't home.

:roflmao: A little anticipation torture for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. :roflmao:

This was my first time buying jewelry from an online jeweler and they've been great to work with throughout the entire process.

Mate, I’d play an open E string for 8 minutes to be up there.

:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao: Understood. :thumbsup:

What's that address again Larry? Couldn't see the delivery date either.

Congrats to you and the lucky lady!

Congratulations! 12 for us today!

I love my Casady! I’ve had Labella DTFs on it for quite a while. It can do the “Pbass with flats” sound, but it also has this nice growl when you dig in.
It is my go-to for gigs that require a “classier” look.

I tend to leave the impedance selector on the middle setting.

It is neck heavy for sure. I had Hipshot Ultralights on it and that helped, but then I moved those tuners to my Eagle. Once the border opens fully, and I can get stuff without ridiculous shipping fees, I’ll put ultralights on it again.

I’m happy to make decals/pickguards/TRCs for you or any other TB Club members. My day job has been very busy, so I just haven’t been actively looking for extra work.

Ah yes, rockstars........

One of my fave bands of all time is UFO, I was fortunate in seeing them with Michael Schenker just before he left the band - but these guys were all legit hard rock stars in the true sense. Phil Moog has a great voice, Paul Chapman was probably the best unknown sideman, and of course there's Pete, rocking the '76 Bird.
This particular clip cracks me up as Way's trousers are unzipped for the entire video........an onstage gaffe that even I have not managed to equal

Up on the roof today for flag pole duty, don't ever doubt about Seattle's ability to do gray, grey, grau, gris, il grigio, harmaa.

The tower in the center is King Street Station (ex Great Northern, Northern Pacific - Mike), to it's immediate right is part of Lumen Field (Seahawks), from where I work 4 blocks away you can easily hear the crowd inside on game day.

The natural birds are nice - always liked them. I considered stripping the finish off my '64 II at one point and then decided against it. :)

That's kind of what I meant, it has to be that the driver just didn't have the patience and forged your name himself, I bet that happens often.
