Good morning and welcome to the new year! I live up in the north end, an area called Mead, or Wandermere to more specific. I work downtown, or did before Covid. Hoping to get back to working part time at the office at least. It is about 11 miles door to door. I have seen a few moose, but they were over around Sandpoint. I have seen pics and read bits on a neighborhood blog about them in the area, but this is the first one in the yard.
Please let me know if you ever get over to the east side, drinks are on me. Cheers!

One interesting thing is the linguistic differences between Canada and the US. In Canada, we call these moose; I had no idea that they were thunderbirds in the US.

Still have it and when I play my '64 T-bird II that I used on it back when I 1st bought it in '78, (and actually before that by a few years as I used it on my stollen '63 II first) - but these days I can afford to buy a few "ties" for specific basses.

Our very own @Chucky Stiletti took this pic of me and my 'T-bird w/camel-brown leather strap earlier this year at a TSC's trio show at Winters Tavern in Pacifica CA. The strap saw major action in Blues Bars in Chicago (late '70s-mid '80s) At this point - it goes with the bass.

Biggest issue I have running an SVT-VR is that without the master and gain knob separate, it has to get pretty cranked to get into the warm fuzzy.

Except with the EB0, that thing pretty much smashes through the preamp and makes itself known



When I don't want it on kill, I use the TC Electronics "Spark Booster"
Probably the best clean gain and light harmonic pedal that I've used and doesn't sound like a damn coffee grinder or eat low end

That big Fender should sound pretty awesome

EB-0... Might be my next bass. Even an Epi.

The VR only has master vol?

Yes, it’s the Reissue of the original SVT. But it has two channels. Split the input into channel 2 with the jumpers, and you can patch the pedal in there (also) allows you to dial in or out as much of the pedal depending on how much volume you choose on each channel
Channel one has more preamp gain
