Dag nabbit - that’s 95% of what I was going for in my bling bird build. Just trash the butt ugly pearloid odd cut guard, replace it with a standard NR guard, and add a 3rd pup centered between the two existing ones and it would be spot on. I’m kinda liking this whole “throw shist against the wall and see what sticks” theme of the mod shop. I guess I’m gonna have to keep two grand laying around for when something interesting pops up again, they always seem to sell in a day or two.if you look you’ll get over wanting it really quick….
fugly is the word you are looking for.
Rather they got a poop bomb.

Parenting is the first thing on the list. But police are kind of stuck in the middle. Cops won't bother arresting if DA's choose to not uphold the laws as written, or the laws are so watered down people who steal instruments or the like no longer meet a threshold for a "real" crime. Cops get that. A friend of mine is a prosecutor in VA and does what he's supposed to, which is fight crime and keep criminals off the streets and the police gladly bring him customers because they know working a case or chasing some dude is not a waste of their time and energy, and personal safety. As much as I agree with your premise, unfortunately there is much to be done before it gets to that point. In my SF Mission neighborhood - cops could care less.
I'll have to try your setting for kicks. Mine is set at 1:00 and 11:00, roughly, and I hardly ever adjust it. Mine sets on the back of the head out of the way. For people who want it to "do something" like an effect are disappointed because that's not what it does and they conclude it doesn't do anything. It does for discerning ears. That and my old Phase 90 I would not be without.
OK, that's just stupid looking. If they are going for a different look send them to JIO or get prior approval. But I do like the color and chrome!
Yes.Same!
I hate thieves and vandals and criminality period. Calling these people "porch pirates" diminishes the harm they cause to the individual they steal from and the businesses they harm. Call them what they are... eff'ing thieves.
From P/U placement to that hackjob of a PG and its missing Thunderbird... I woudn't buy it for $800, muchless $1,800+!
I second your fugly assessment! Can I get a third?
Even baby poop thinks that color is uglyYes.
No second needed since is came from a committee since we speak as one on that thing.
Motion carried.
They could have finished it off with that horrid Antigua finish.

While I agree the PG is a 'questionable' choice-and an easy fix-I like the rest. Color, pup placement, chrome, whatever. Price doesn't affect me since I can't afford it.Dag nabbit - that’s 95% of what I was going for in my bling bird build. I have mentioned it before outlaws late 70s. Several of them had guitars that look to be that finish and they look stunning in the bright lights. At the time they looked like a pretty grade it faded to an almost white. I thought it was the same color but they may have had something custom. What they had looked good when it was new. This stuff is first in line for a refinish job. I would refinish a 64 Thunderbird if it were in mint condition this was the finish. But like I say, when they were new I don't think they had that much horrible green look to them. Maybe they did and I just don't remember.Even baby poop thinks that color is ugly
This is their bad attempt to sell seconds. It's easier just to sell an instrument that they've messed up by modifying it in someway and then saying it came from the "mod shop" instead of the "blem shop."I'm disappointed with the Mod Shop. The cosmetic blems are often hard to overlook. This one has a few obvious issues. Why would a premium company intentionally put inferior product on the market with their name on it? It's especially baffling considering all it the QC issues they have been struggling with. Most high end companies go to extremes to avoid this to protect the brand.

Not disagreeing with you, but to me “pirates” are the worst kind of criminal. Isn’t the definition someone who murders a crew and takes their ship? The word has been misused so much (music/software piracy?) that it’s lost it’s meaning.Same!

Also "sanitized" by Disney-and other filmmakers.("Yo, ho, yo, ho, a pirate's life for me". Nope.)Not disagreeing with you, but to me “pirates” are the worst kind of criminal.
