Thunderbird Club

where did I go?

I’m not sure if I’m ready to start the defret on my NR yet. It doesn’t take too long, but it’s a lot of precise concentrated work and attention to detail…

I have a refinish on a 4004 Ric I have planned but it’s too cold to actually paint and I don’t want to disassemble until I can paint.

I got a bridge I need to replace on my sg treble geetar, but I have to fill the offset holes of the tuna-matic bridge and redrill straight holes for the 70’s schaller harmonica bridge, then I need to cut a new pickguard and control panel.

maybe I’ll just mindlessly thump away on some 12 bar blooze for an hour or so, while watching boba fett….

I was digging on the internet and I can’t seem to find any build-a-bass bodies with a NR body-style. There was this great guitar builder on eBay who was cutting them pre-pandemic but he’s not making them anymore. Anybody know where I might find one that just needs to be routed out?

Rosser? I think he got a letter from Gibson….

I’m paring down my parts basses,

I got a reverse body loaded with EMG Jx something jazz pickups.

and an NR body with reverse Pbass pickups.

if you are interested we can make a deal…
