LOL - she actually never came at me with an axe thank god (only because there wasn’t one handy). But one time she did come after me with a butcher knife and another time a hammer. Her favorite trick was to try to shove me down the stairs when I wasn’t expecting it, which she tried on several occasions.
After our divorce she was later diagnosed as suffering from schizophrenic manic depression - that explained a lot. And for those that doubt karma - fast forward about thirty years after our divorce, she apparently was inebriated and died as she fell down a flight of stairs and broke her neck. Wouldn’t wish that demise on anyone including her, but it sure makes you think twice about your actions and how you treat others.
Totally unrelated…
PillO, after reading your medical posts about your hand surgery I decided to “man up” and see a surgeon about correcting my right hand ring finger that’s been painfully locking up for about a year now. Just had the operation today, basically slice the palm open and free the finger tendon from the obstruction. It’s nothing compared to what you’re going through and should have a quick recovery. I did ask the doctor how soon I could eat watermelon, he said right away with a fork but nothing messy in the right hand until the dressings are no longer needed.
