Thunderbird Club

Which reminds me...

We'll be in Sonoma, CA for a wedding on Apr 23 (Saturday). We'll then spend a few days in the SF area before heading up to Seattle for the next weekend, then on to the boonies outside Eagle River (near Anchorage) for a week. I'll be back in Seattle for (I think) two nights, May 9 & 10. Sharon will return later.

So... if anyone is up for a meal, coffee, whatever on one of those dates, so are we!

I can't say for sure whether I can make the July M/C rally, but we're committed to the trip above.

Miles, be sure to keep me in mind for your Seattle dates, just drop me a PM a week or so ahead of time and we can arrange some food, drinks, Thunderbirds.

I think you should write a book. How to escape an axe wielding ex-wife.
LOL - she actually never came at me with an axe thank god (only because there wasn’t one handy). But one time she did come after me with a butcher knife and another time a hammer. Her favorite trick was to try to shove me down the stairs when I wasn’t expecting it, which she tried on several occasions.

After our divorce she was later diagnosed as suffering from schizophrenic manic depression - that explained a lot. And for those that doubt karma - fast forward about thirty years after our divorce, she apparently was inebriated and died as she fell down a flight of stairs and broke her neck. Wouldn’t wish that demise on anyone including her, but it sure makes you think twice about your actions and how you treat others.

Totally unrelated…
PillO, after reading your medical posts about your hand surgery I decided to “man up” and see a surgeon about correcting my right hand ring finger that’s been painfully locking up for about a year now. Just had the operation today, basically slice the palm open and free the finger tendon from the obstruction. It’s nothing compared to what you’re going through and should have a quick recovery. I did ask the doctor how soon I could eat watermelon, he said right away with a fork but nothing messy in the right hand until the dressings are no longer needed.:D

I think I am going to do a day of atonement and I'm not even Jewish...don't need that kind of karma.

It would be fun to throw a couple 'Birds and one of the 360s in the back of the van. It's not all that far.

It's a one day haul @$$ down, you can do it.......

Don't let facts get in the way of a good story! As Hollywood would say, based on a true story... Meaning, material facts have been fabricated, but the the important things, like who gets what cut of the gross, are written in stone.

Well done. Compartment release? I assume all done under a local as an outpatient procedure. Plastic surgeons are really well versed in pain-free surgery and minimal impact (cosmetic and functional). Having my cubital tunnel released, I felt so good, I never needed any narcotics (or any other pain relief). Still, enjoy the drugs.

To my mind, there is never a reason to forego treatment. All you are doing is robbing yourself of useful time.

As always, I may be an outlier.
