If only alcohol were a requirement for stupidity and bad decisions.
I needed the inducement it brought to be that stupid. It was a stupid time all around. Had some fun, but most all my regrets come from during those years as well. But I know what you mean. This is why naturally stupid people should really not drink at all. Strict water diet.

I have no clue if he actually uses Birds or if its just for the video. I have seen footage of him with MM, Jazz, and P basses over the years. He always seems to have a nice growly sound tho.
Funny, I can only picture Curley with Rics. I've seen them a number of times, but don't remember what he was playing back in the early to mid '90s. Maybe Rics are more recent.

Edit: oops I meant the other guy! Lol

I saw him with Alice Cooper in March 2020 in the time between bushfires, floods and then Covid. He was using all T’birds in the show that night.

Seems a long flippin’ time ago.
PS the floods are back. :rage:

The last two times I saw Alice, Chuck played a Bird for most of the show.

Is that coming out of California? I swear I saw this on my local CL a year or so back, and nearly jumped on it, but I was still paying off my Telecaster bass. It was a red Cataldo with 3 pickups.
The seller is in Long Island, prety sure he is a member here. The bass has had a number of owners.

I noticed that when I played a little drums (very badly I might add). In a massive room it might not be a thing, but even in a room for several hundred it's very easy to be too loud.
In a practice room, it can be overwhelming. Backing off and still being driving withing the groove is one of the hardest things I have had to learn. The lessons in that aren't over and probably never will be.

If I had the resources, I would have a whole wireless IEM setup to use all the time. It's all around better for sound and ears. Being able to hear well enough to blend without going deaf sure makes a difference.
Such a set up is impractical for home practice. First, it would be prohibitively expensive to buy IEMs for all my neighbours and second, I don't know that they would wear them when I am practicing. Better to stick with the amp and cabinet to ensure I annoy the neighbours.

Yes, I've had my own problems in the past and keep it to myself and never refuse pain meds, I take them as prescribed and Bill W helps me out. I worked in the industry and have watched the overreaction to pain meds with alarm as a lot of people who need them have to beg now. I'm responsible for myself, no one ever tied me down and shoved anything down my throat (or anyplace else).

yes. IMHO a big problem now is under-treating pain and may be some element of the increase in opioid addiction as people resort to street drugs.

So you have never had a colonoscopy...
and AHEM.
