Thunderbird Club

Nonreverse are a bit hotter than the 63-65 reverse birds, at least in my experience . As mentioned the winds were done with a timer not a very accurate way to wind. I don't know if there was a conscious decision to up the wind count on Nonreverse birds or if it was just being sloppy.
Thanks Scott. As V also rightly pointed out consistency with pickups was....well, not very consistent. Older Fender pickups vary with winds as well given human hands were involved. I know with Fender, even the winding patterns vary.

let me know what rye you like for the manhattans….the wife (her favorite cocktail) swears by Old Potrero…

I think she and I will get along quite well!

Whiskey Sour with JD.

If you replace the simple syrup with real maple syrup - oh so good! You can sub Bourbon for the JD too

But, I digress.

I've been on a 70's Wishbone Ash kick lately and been listening especially to "Live Dates 2", "Live In Tokyo" and "Guildford 1980" plus selected studio tracks from essentially Laurie Wisefield years before Martin Turner was kicked out (1974-1980). What a fantastic bassist with a very unique style (like a mix of Chris Squire and John Gustafson) and a much better singer than he usually gets the credit for.
Martin isn't underrated when compared to the drummer Steve Upton. Great groove:

The very early Hamer with T-Bird pickups.

I’m a huge WA and Turner fan. If you like the 70’s era music, get the boxed set of everything from that period. I listen to something by them every day.

For the love of clear water.... Yet another variable not considered.

(And I fine-tuned your statement a bit to fit present realities.)

Science is a verb, not a noun, hence "The Science (tm)" <noun>. And we were told that a certain official is "The Science(tm)"

So, when Matt Damon in The Martian says "I'm going to science the $#!t out of this, it was a correct statement. But what he proceeds to do was not science, but knowledge, negating the prior correct statement.
