Time to switch to Dunlop Super Brights!!!

Howdy - still LOVING these strings (Nickel). I use .105-.45 with a .130 B string - perfect (don't dig the .125 as much that comes with the actual 5 string set).

I've been buying the Nickel 6 string set just to get the .130 B - I'm going to start simply buying the 4 string set and adding the .130 B as a single (bass strings online) even though it will be a couple bucks more than the 6 string set.

Why? Because now I have about 9 C strings sitting in the parts drawer wasting away - no point wasting the C strings any more.

So - does anyone need any C strings? I'll send them your way if you pay shipping - not looking to profit, just hate they are languishing unused....

Just ordered a set to switch out my NYXL

do you guys find it flimsy compared to daddario
the NYXLs are much lower tension than the super brights. I'll be anxious to see your reaction to them- they are on opposite ends of the spectrum to my ears.

I've been using the SS Superbrights 40100 as a replacement for D'Add Prosteels 45105, and I've found that the Superbrights feel like they have a bit more tension than the Prosteels. The Prosteels definitely feel springier.

I still use the D'Adds for my 5er (partially because of the much larger choice in B strings), and the Superbrights on the 4banger.

i just got a set of superbrights with the 125 B, why does everyone not like the 125 B compare to the 130?

I like the .125 B just fine. Have used 5 sets on multiple basses and many recording session. Always delivers for me. One of my favorite b strings ever. I have never tried the 130, but haven't felt a need to.

im still planning on using the set i got just ive heard in a lot of places that people dislike the 125 b and its apparently so much better with a 130 b
