A local dude is selling his Ampeg SVT810 for $350.

Looks to be in great condition, do I just toss caution to the wind and go big even though I do not "need" anything this monstrous? Of course I "want" this and could probably flip it if I get sick of moving it around.

(I have a smaller 2x10 cab that is just meh and a Veyron bv1000m to power it right now).

I am checking it out friday to see which version it is.

I have a vehicle this will fit in but not going to "gig" with it.
More of a right of passage and tool to annoy the neighbors who really have it coming.
If NOT going to gig, I would say NO to this fridge. I have a Heritage fridge that I gig with, AND it sounds awesome at lower levels at home...HOWEVER I bought and sold 2 fridges that were not Heritage, cause they did not sound great at lower level....one was a 2005 SLM "dark" days, and it was an actual bad sounding cab at any level, like many people and threads have documented here on TB. Just my experience and opinion, hope you have fun either way and rock the low end!

Why not? Great price. Verify all speakers are OEM matched and working.
