Tonight only!!

I had to post this and see if anyone has any similar stories about terrible bar/club advertising. Like marquees, flyers and the like.

We have gig this Saturday at a club that used to be an old movie theatre. It has the stereotypical big marquee sign out front.

Well the advertisment for our show said "Saturday 4 Bands".

How great is that! We called and they are changing it and putting our name up. Anyone got anything similar?

Just before Christmas,we were booked for a benefit to help the area's less fortunate have a better holiday. The benefit was put together well,TONS of silent auction donations,6 bands, free food for all,and a LOT of air-time advertising. Everything went quite well, but halfway through the night,I was outside having a smoke, and looked up. On the marquee,in double size lettering was "Needy Kids Benefit" ...that was it. Great turn-out anyway!

Jimmy Lee James has been up on the marquee as Jimmy Lee Jones before.

This is the most annoying / funniest one for my band.
