i'd uncover the pups and knobs ... i think those small black accents would help show off and break up the wood a bit ... !?! gotta love maple , ... especialy AAAAA curly

How you perceive your instrument is highly personal. That being said, your bass is shockingly monochromatic. Having darker accents like knobs or pickups would improve asteics. Or you wear an all white jump suit while playing it, it'll be like '70's Devo :woot:.

Recently I received this bass and absolutely love the build qaulity, tone, and playability. I am finding myself feeling a little overwhelmed by all of the Maple and am thinking of having the bass refinished. What do you guys think?

I like a little more contrast, that body wood would look really nice to me with some colored stain. Maybe some fretboard inlay stickers to see what that does to it? They look surprisingly good if done well.
