WOW!!! Is that the actual color of it? Orange, flamed maple?

I thought it was just one signal for clean then it splits for one with just clean and one for clean/dirty. So why the big looper? By the way this board so so nicely made and everything good job!![]()
, Or anyone else with a BR-2, I have just managed to get my hands on one (which is pretty hard here in the UK!) and to be honest, I am a little dissapointed.
, as if the signal is clipping. do yours do this, or do I have a dud?

Basically, when engaged and I first hit the note/chord etc there is a huge "pop" kind of noise, as if the signal is clipping. do yours do this, or do I have a dud?

You, sir, have a dud. It doesn't sound like anything that's unfixable, however.
it's been posted a billion times.NKUSigEp said:Not sure if this has been posted yet or not but here's a vid with Chris Schleyer going through the gear...

Looks like he's reconfigured his setup a bit.
I'm a little surprised that so many people find his tone hard to get. A StingRay (or any hifi bass with a fresh set of rounds) combined with a BF-3, CE-5, tap tempo, and SansAmp will get you most of the way there - or at least enough to make most people happy.
My thoughts are that guys start off trying to cop his tone and will get pretty close, then they start digging and find out what gear he's actually using and panic. Very few can afford a Wal and the massive amounts of stuff he's using so they get their panties in a bunch and commence the "how can I get JC's tone" threads.
You're probably right. I don't mean to offend anyone, but to me he's one of the easier guys out there to emulate when it comes to tone - even if you're on a budget.
