Canada Toronto Ont. GTG......

Hey guys/gals. I've got an upcoming tour at the end of the month, supporting five artists in the reggae/African genre and I'm trying to get some tones together. I've got a Broughton Synth Voice but it's not quite getting me where I want to be... i need that 808-style deep wet bass sound. I'm wondering if any of you have an Octamizer or a Octabvre that you'd like to trade for a few days so I can give it a try and see if it's something I should buy. Im in the east end, near Broadview station. Thanks in advance for any help or tips you can give me! :)

Gig report! @Big Benner. Caught Big Benner and his band the Moonwalks last night. Here are some pics of the night. The band was great, great BL who knows how to work the room and the band. Big Benner was fantastic on bass! He was a solid back bone for the band. There was a big difference when he was not playing with them.

I guested for a couple of songs on bass at the gracious invitation of Benner and had some fun going up cold.

Hey question to all my GTA talkbass brethren. Have any used the talkbass classified and shipped their basses to the USA? I am finally willing to sell my EBMM StingRay5 and see some better pricing in the south. Just looking for advice on best shipping methods to the US and any helpful tips. Please shoot me a PM . Thanks! Steve

I shipped my Alembic to Alabama - CanPost/USPS insured.

Made it in 3 days in perfect condition with no issues for the buyer.

Just pack it well and you will be fine.

I also put "Used Guitar Made in the USA" on the shipping label so it wouldn't be flagged for any import fees etc for the buyer.

Definitely wise to sell to the US. Its a good deal for both sides taking advantage of the USD
