Finally got my home office space set up properly:

Sitting by the creek near where I live. Gathering my thoughts.
This is the lighthouse on top of my local mountain, Mt. Diablo, 3849 ft.
Hike in western PA. Easy trail (foot trail only but was outrageously mobbed by mountain bikers anyway, creating all kinds of problems) with a nice outcrop view. First pic is a bog with carnivorous plants. Pretty interesting ecosystem.
The dropoff is hard to see in the pics, but it's a couple hundred feet just past my boots. There were a couple timber rattlers next to us on the rocks, but we left them alone.

I used to see that all the time when I lived in Vacaville.

Fluid dynamics is fascinating. I don't pretend to understand it, but the way the water beads up on the spider web is so cool.
