Outdoor gig-ending storm clouds yesterday afternoon in Apex, NC
Yeah I'm not quite 100 miles East of there. The drive to Edenton yesterday was NO fun. 20 mph cross winds on the highway amd lightening everywhere. The area to the left doesn’t look so bad in this pic. But lightening was CONSTANT over there for about ten minutes.
From Brookgreen Gardens. It's hard to really capture how magnificent these old trees are. They are massive in size. This one dates back to the signing of the Constitution.
Got a $2 soap dish at Goodwill to match my new fancy soap:
