Ice storm of 2023,
Five days with no heat, at least we could light the gas stove top with an match. We had a small generator for the frig, sump pump and a couple lamps.

We just finished a solar install, at least we’ll have some to full daytime power in your situation. Unless they get buried, but they say they burn their way out of the snow plus wind etc.
I don’t know what these Easter egg colored balls are. From my driveway today.

Up the street from me, more damage from the windstorm. The uprooted tree is a bit more than 3 feet in diameter. The other tree that is leaning so intensely will almost certainly come down in the next storm (next fall or winter) or big wind (whenever that happens). Fortunately there's no houses in the path of its fall.
