Here's another, now awaiting some Hammond organ overdubs and then I can start mixing down.
I'm here today to raise Britt to the front. Dam-it! My drummer died a few years back. I am hearing his stuff everyday still though. Indeed, there are drum tracks I have not manipulated yet. I have a youtube channel for the band and last night someone posted a comment on the song "stuff rocks" about "grampa... We miss you".
But anyway, he's here with us... (musically) that boisterous sob.
I am going to toss on a couple amateur early recordings from 1999. Back when even the piano was analog. The recordings had to be bumped down because it was the time of 4 tracks.

I have something a little different here.
This is the first thing I have posted that is NOT my material: a musician I sometimes work with gave this rough sketch of a song idea, and put I rough idea for a bassline to it.
I like his song idea, and I like my bass line idea OK, but I played on fretless, and I am not thrilled with my intonation (I actually posted this in a separate thread, asking if there is "any hope" for my fretless playing.)

Here's a track from my album. Originally recorded in Cubase 4 LE, after that DAW stopped recognizing my interface, I switched to Studio One Prime and remixed all of my album tracks, including this one. Guitar, bass, and percussion.

Here's a track from a friend's new album. He asked me to provide a bass part, and I happily obliged.He recorded everything else at his house (using ProTools, I believe).
Both well done, tastefully played. Your own stuff is much more to my tastes.

A 60's B side of a 45 RPM from the outsiders, this song is called, "now you want my sympathy".
It was already psychedelic, but we've put our spin on it. We were doing a house party. Actually a retirement gig. An amateur recorded this on a vhs compact video camcorder. The guy who the party was for, the guy who retired... fell on one of my best guitars cause he was plastered drinking from a gallon jug of jack daniels.
Good times? Lucky I brought a second guitar and he didn't fall on both!

Well, my 12 string is not like a normal 12 string - 30" scale, tuned like a Bass VI but with octave strings (so I guess you could call it a Bass XII). Like a regular 12er except bigger and an octave lower, and the highest two courses are still in octaves, not unison like a regular 12er.
I just asked Emerald, they won't build me another one, they've reduced their custom options to streamline the business, so this beastie will remain serial number 001 of 001. And Only.
Also I'm using finger picks and playing through my bedroom practice amp.
Wait, that's not from one of the Blade Runner soundtracks? I can almost hear the voiceover from the floating ad blimp: "Begin a new life in the offworld colonies" hehe hehe...
