Totally irrelvant TBer info share thread

Never ever do bass mods. Buy a bass and be happy and leave well enough alone. Don't even take up bass in the first place. For that matter just stay out of playing music period. It's a festering quagmire of endless expense that serves no purpose. You're far better off making yourself useful and getting important things done than sitting around playing or working on basses. Don't even get me started on buying strings....

This is pretty "sound" advice.
:roflmao:

I ordered two Lace pickups from different places in the States. One came by parcel post..no problem. The other came by UPS and they dinged me 20 bucks at the door brokerage fees.

The parcel post carton arrived one day after the UPS one. I forgot to closely scrutinize shipping methods when ordering.

The moral of this story is:- Never ever do bass mods.
But I'm not going to sell my basses....no siree...they will be passed down in the family from generation to generation as a reminder of bygone times...
It will remind them of a time when people played real basses...not simulated basses on a smartphone.
Potato chips? Don't talk to me about potato chips. I've read all the food threads here on the TB and you people are nuts. You wouldn't know a good brand of potato chips if they walked up and jumped in your salsa.....you bunch of burrito-licking wannabees....

Why I oughta.....
A bit of fish and brewis and you'll feel better.

Sometimes, I don't want to do anything, say anything, or even answer people who speak to me. I don't even want to look at them. I just want to sit and stare into the distance, preferably while an airplane or lawnmower drones away in the distance. While this happens, I want to slowly become more and more transparent until I fade away completely.

Dust bunnies aren't really bunny rabbits, they're small globs of dust that accumulate in little-used areas like under a bed. The term "dust bunny" was coined in 1934 by a lady in Orange City, Iowa who would collect the dust and form it into the shape of bunny rabbits, spray them with hairspray and sell them through Montgomery Ward's mail-order catalog business. None of that is true except the first sentence. I made it all up and that's why I posted it here instead of "trivia." I'm sorry.

There is a team that hunts down and destroys dust bunnies with plasma rays. They are known as The Dust Busters.
