Here's something said on the ChurchBass mailing list a couple of days ago:

TPB is ThePerfectBass.com, BTW (not affiliated)

    And then:
(I don't know if there is a rule for quoting other people - should I give their names, etc.?)

Don't worry about it. It's fine as long as you're not taking credit for the quotes.

Again, that makes it look like the Gibson Traces were inferior. Not so...

They were only interested in the amp that became the Gibson Goldtone IIRC.

The Vellocette. Which itself was based on an old Gibson amp.

If they do bring back the tube amps I'd be all over them. I missed out on one Trace tube amp, not gonna a second time!

  15. I happened to go here last night

    http://www.geartree.com

    and found this:

    http://www.geartree.com/Shop/Control/Product/fp/vpid/1734730/vpcsid/0/SFV/29865/tcat/0

Imagine my surprise when I thought I could order one.....filled out the order and saved the page...called them today and spoke to Dan.....he said he was not sure about supply and would put in a call and call me back....in about 10 mins my phone rang and Dan told me that the supplier is saying these will ship at the end of the year.....I WILL have one of these as soon as they are out......

    Peace,

    T

The last 12 band 2x10 SMX had ports you plug to alter the tuning of the combo and the stand alone 2x10 cab. I see they've changed that and added more power.
