TransBlue with Tort PG?

Here's what my Sadowsky Vintage 4 normally looks like with a Mirror P/G. I put a Tort PG on it. I kinda like it but I kinda don't. What do you think?

My preference with that color trans would be a white perloid guard.

That's a tough one. In the second picture, I kinda like it. In the third, definitely not.

Also note that tort looks good on anything, in some sort of way.

I vote white pearloid or silver pearl. The silver pearl "picks up' the surrounding color. Transparent blue is one of my faves !

I am okay with the 3rd pic, but dislike the 2nd.

The mirror looks the coolest of the 3. A white pearl'd be cool, too.

We just shipped a Vintage P5 in the same color combo with a Pearloid p/g and though it looked pretty cool, it's not my thing.

I wonder what a BWB p/g would look like on her. Here she is witha Clear p/g:

I like torts and never thought much of mirrors, so it doesn't surprise me that I like it with the tort. What surprises me is how good I think it looks with the mirror on it. For whatever reason I think it looks fantastic with that one. The clear one doesn't do much for me.

I think it could also look great with a white pearl.

Blue and tort is superclassy on that bass. I'd prefer a rosewood neck, but I'm sure you chose that for more important reasons than how it looked!
