I have 2 projects going right now. One is an Affinity P bass body with an SX short scale neck and a Bill Lawrence p-46. The other is a Bronco with a Bartolini 8cbp. As soon as I get the pick guards done I'll post pictures.

I only got this today but im putting a new maple neck on it,new pickups,cts pots etc and possibly a black pickguard,i was lucky enough to get the big tuners as i think the small tuners on the Affinity Basses look awful, thats the only thing i hate about Affinity Basses,other than that i love squier Basses.

Gotoh bridge (of course), jack re-routed to the side, modified pickguard and pickup surround, modified headstock logo, knobs lost, used and abused.

Well now i have another excuse to post my P!

Here's what I started with ( The Bronco on the left is 'kinda' tricked out- more like abused)

I figured the world had enough boring red basses.
Considering the bass cost me $40 i decided to have some fun
After everything (uncluding the chrome pup & bride covers on their way) the total came to $85

Check out my thread in the Luthiers Corner if ya wanna... or dont xD
I think I've become a Fender convert (i THINK- dont hold me to that!)

Those are awesome, Joe, but I think you attributed my bass to stshipley. Not that I mind, but his looked nicer with the CV neck.

I was hopin' that if I left them on my bed and closed the doors and put on some nice music, in a few months there'd be a blessed event and perhaps a new bass would arrive.

I like the pickup covers, but I play right over the pickups most of the time. If I used a standard vintage style bridge instead of the BadAss, I'd put a P-style bridge cover on there.

Heres my Squier VM Jazz that I picked up this past week.

So far:
Hipshot "Lolipop" style tuners
Black Jazz bass style Vol/Tone Dials
Black control plate

Future:
Duncan 1/4lb Pickups
Hipshot FM-1 bridge or Gotoh standard bridge (still deciding between modern style or vintage).
