Trickfish?

Well. Picked up a .5k. Played it last night through a few Trickfish cabs but mainly used on my Revsound RS210.

EQ was a little intimidating at first but once I worked through it found it very intuitive. Lots of flexibility but easy to find good sounds. Easier than any other amp I've used. Great match for the RS210 too. Was able to dial in a very familiar almost GK sound and a few others but GK is my reference. Nice growl.

One item of note is the EQ is pretty flat set at null. I never bump mids but did a little to get the sound i liked. Initial impression ... excellent amp that can cover a lot of ground. Good size, easy to read controls and overall solid build.

Gig in two weeks will be the ultimate test

Played my Bullhead .5K at band practice Thursday night. Small acoustically treated room. Old beat up cab loaded with a Deltalite 12. Great sounding little cab. Usually use my GK700 or Funk modified Gibson 440.

Setup, tweaked my setting for the room and didn't touch anything but bump the volume. This amp is a stunner! I can get some growl but also clarity all the way up and down the fretboard. I heard note clarity I didn't know I was missing!!! Never harsh, just clarity. Can't wait for my gig in two weeks. It think this is my 16th class D amp.

I also modified a Rigid tool case for a carrying case. Yes it's big but still relatively light and I really want to protect this little guy!

This is my favorite class D amp (of the 17 or so I've had). I've tried my fair share but the power of the preamp is really unmatched for the price. I can get a well balanced sound without it being harsh or boomy. Plenty of volume. Perfect size for me. Plus it looks like it was meant to sit atop my Revsound RS210. Perfect sonic and physical match.

Very happy with this amp.

Hope it works out. Thats a sucky but common issue.

I have my own battles. I finally gave up on controlling the volume of others. I thought for a long time that by using reason and logic that people would come around. Most people just can't seem to handle their volume control, for whatever reason. Always make sure to have a set of hearos on me. And trying my hardest to hide my disappointment in others.... :rollno:
