Tronographic Rusty Box Soundclips

Why are you looking to do that? Is it that the Tronographic cord is not long enough or something else? I'm trying figure out what I should be anticipating...

the cord is long enough for sure. However alot of pedal board systems dont have extra outlets, just the leads for the power unit that are 9v neg tip. I cant plug my Rusty box into my pedalboard and make it all neat and streamlined. I would have to put it on my board, plug in the board and also plug in the Rusty box to an additional outlet and that can be an annoyance... especially on a stage with limited outlets... (yeah, yeah.. carry a power strip... but thats an even bigger adapter!)

this is NO reason not to get one though... it would just be nice if it incorporated into pedalboards easier.

The 30V adapter certainly has a long enough power cord, but I'd like to keep everything running off of a single power supply since power at the front of the stage is often limited. I could use the courtesy outlet on my PP2+, but that is typically used by my hair fan... You can't rock without a hair fan. Fact. :p

Got it! Thank you both! I'm using a Furman Power Strip to plug it in but am planning on getting a different board soon and didn't realize my Rusty Box was going to need something different. So much to learn...

Quick derail... Someone in another thread mentioned the "T-Rex Fuel Tank Chameleon." It gives you a choice of 9V DC, 12V DC, 18V DC or 12V AC power. Would I be able to "Y" from a 12V and 18V or does it just not work like that?

yessuh. well, it puts out whatever the output of each it's plugged into. i have it running from the SupH Charger's 2 that are 9/16 volt selectable for 32 volt.

yerpppAhhhhhhHhhHh!

Thanks Much!! I got a pretty interesting chain going on here and a new PP2 that will power me/us :hyper:

Am I going to destroy my Ampeg Micro VR if I plug a Rusty Box into its effects return?
I've heard the RB is quite.. zealous. I don't want to melt my Ampeg, though.
I am saving for a power amp but wanted to use the Ampeg in the meantime for private home practice.
Thoughts? Am I being overly paranoid?!
